Lifetime Connection Redesign

Lifetime Connection was the affiliate extranet site for Lifetime Television. I supported and worked on the site for seven years through three redesigns. 

In 2009, I was the project manager for the last full redesign of the site.  The project consisted of the migration to a third-party CMS, Clickability; a change of the site architecture from channel based to category based; the creation of a new tool that facilitated the downloading of documents and images; and a redesign of the look and feel of the site.

One of the problems we needed to solve with the redesign involved our need to track individual users by company through the site.  Most web traffic solutions are geared toward a more general audience; so, working with a third-party company, Endai Worldwide, I spearheaded a completely new and innovative way to use Google Analytics, cookies, and user profile data to create a tracking system that gave us the very detailed information that we required.
